This year has marked our return to live theater, and we are grateful for the enthusiasm and support of our Short North Stage audiences. Due to the success of this past year, we are beyond excited to bring you a brand-new season full of rockers, riveting storytelling, and reimagined classics. Renewing Subscriptions start on March 23, 2022. New subscriptions start April 25, 2022. Flex Ticket Packages start May 12, 2022. Your subscription package includes the same seat(s) for all six Short North Stage Main Stage shows on your designated week and day. Benefits include savings on your subscription tickets, limited fees, free and unlimited ticket exchanges, and new this season - discounts on additional ticket purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have to decide about purchasing tickets for the 2022-2023 season?

Renewing Subscribers have until 11:59pm on April 15, 2022, to request best available seating. The CBUSArts Ticket Center will do our best to honor all upgrade and seat change requests before new subscriptions go on sale on April 25, 2022. Subscriptions will continue to be on sale through August 14, 2022.

What is in my 2022-2023 Short North Stage subscription?

Each subscription package includes one ticket to each of the 6 Main Stage Shows on your designated week and day, including Rock of Ages, Rent, White Christmas, Slave Play, Into the Woods, and The Wild Party. The Add-On shows (Tick, Tick… BOOM! and The Rocky Horror Show) can be purchased for a discounted price at the time of your subscription purchase, although we cannot guarantee your exact subscription seats.

Will I need to make a new CBUSArts account?

If you are a renewing subscriber, use the email address on your renewal form to login to your existing CBUSArts account. If you are using CBUSArts for the first time, we created you a temporary login—please use the FORGOT PASSWORD process with the email address on your form to get your account set-up.

If you are a new subscriber but have an existing CBUSArts account, you can use your same login and password to purchase your Short North Stage subscription.

If you are a new subscriber and are new to, you will need to create a new account with your primary email address.

When will I receive my tickets by mail or be able to print from my CBUSArts account?

Tickets will be mailed May 15, 2022 and/or be made digitally available at that time in your account.

When will Flex Subscriptions be available for purchase?

Flex Subscriptions will be available for purchase starting May 12, 2022. Physical Flex Tickets will be mailed once purchased to help patrons track their remaining tickets and easily share them with friends and family. Flex Tickets may be redeemed in-person, by email, or over the phone; information regarding exchanges will be included in with your mailed tickets. We recommend redeeming your Flex Tickets in advance as redemption is subject to availability. Please note that a maximum of 2 Flex Tickets may be redeemed per show title per subscription.

When can I start exchanging my Flex Subscription tickets for individual performances?

Flex Tickets may be redeemed starting June 1, 2022.

When will the general public be able to buy their tickets?

Individual tickets will be available starting June 1, 2022.

What are the COVID-19 and/or social distancing mandates/guidelines for the Short North Stage’s Garden Theatre and Green Room?

How do I change my subscription seats or package?

When using your renewal form, you can denote any changes you would like to make to your package on the back of your form. When using your online account, add your seat change requests when prompted before moving your package to your cart. We will do our best to accommodate those requests as we receive your form. You can also call the CBUSArts Ticket Center to review your options with us – call (614) 469-0939 and asked to be transferred to Subscription Services.

What happens if you can’t accommodate my seat change or package request?

We will give you a call if we have any questions regarding your request. Please note that once the renewal period is over, we will again try to accommodate any seating change requests from the unrenewed inventory prior to new subscriptions going on sale on April 25. If we are able to change your seats, we will send a new confirmation email with the new seat locations.

How do I buy the Add On shows this season?

When using your renewal form, indicate the dates and quantities of additional tickets you would like to purchase for Tick, Tick… BOOM! or The Rocky Horror Show. When using your online account, once your package is in your cart, use the Search Bar in the upper right corner of your screen to find Tick, Tick…BOOM! or The Rocky Horror Show. Your discounted presale prices will be available for any show, any seat. Please note, we cannot guarantee your exact subscription seats.

When can I exchange my season subscription tickets?

Season subscribers may exchange tickets for new dates/times starting June 1, 2022.
