Opera Columbus 2022-2023 Subscriptions
We are excited for you to join us for our 2022-2023 season! This season is packed with everything from our family friendly La Cenerentola (Cinderella) to our first Spanish opera in Columbus, Maria de Buenos Aires, to a grand-scale performance of an opera-lover favorite, Rigoletto, and of course concluding our season with our annual The Cooper-Bing Competition.
Opera Columbus subscribers receive the best seats for the best prices! Subscribers receive a 10% discount on their tickets, and additional tickets purchased for family and friends. Free and unlimited exchanges are facilitated by the CBUSArts Ticket Center. More details regarding performances and Opera Columbus can be found at their website: https://www.operacolumbus.org/
For ease of ordering, subscription prices include the 5% Columbus Arts & Culture Fee and any applicable facility fees. The Columbus Arts & Culture Fee helps make the arts available to all by funding exemplary artists, arts organizations and programs that educate and engage audiences throughout Greater Columbus.
Subscriptions
RENEWING SUBSCRIBERS: Renewing subscribers for the 2022-2023 Season have until July 25, 2022 to secure their same seats from the previous season. Renewal forms were mailed July 13, 2022. This season, you may mix and match your preferred price levels/seating areas at the Southern and Ohio Theatres. You can renew your subscription package by using the below link, by mailing in your renewal form, or by calling the CBUSArts Ticket Center at (614) 469-0939.
- PLEASE NOTE: We’ve tentatively held the best available seats at the Ohio Theatre on Friday night in your regular price level but let us know if you prefer another day or price.
To renew online, login to your CBUSArts account to view your tickets online. You might already have a CBUSArts account or we may have created you a temporary login. Use your primary email address and, if needed, follow the FORGOT PASSWORD process to get logged in for the first time.
- PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to change price levels for your Southern or Ohio seats, we recommend using the form or calling the CBUSArts Ticket Center at (614) 469-0939.
Complete the renewal form and return it to the CBUSArts Ticket Center. Use this form to denote seat change requests for the Ohio or Southern Theatres and/or adjustments to your subscription.
NEW SUBSCRIBERS: New subscribers can purchase the 2022-2023 Opera Columbus season starting July 25, 2022. Opening Night 4-Show Subscription
- Join Opera Columbus for the 2022-2023 season with an all-inclusive subscription package for the Opening Night performance of each title this season. Included in each Opening Night subscription are reserved tickets to La Cenerentola (Friday October 28, 2022), Maria de Buenos Aires (Friday February 24, 2023), and Rigoletto (Friday March 31, 2023); and general admission tickets to The Cooper-Bing Competition (Sunday April 30, 2023).
Closing Performance 4-Show Subscription
- Join Opera Columbus for the 2022-2023 season with an all-inclusive subscription package for the Closing Performance of each title this season. Included in each Closing Performance subscription are reserved tickets to La Cenerentola (Sunday October 30, 2022), Maria de Buenos Aires (Sunday February 26, 2023), and Rigoletto (Saturday April 1, 2023); and general admission tickets to The Cooper-Bing Competition (Sunday April 30, 2023).

How long do I have to decide about purchasing tickets for the 2022-2023 season?
Renewing subscribers will have their subscription seats held until July 25th, 2022.
Can I buy one show instead of the entire season?
If you do not want to purchase from the subscription packages currently available, you are able to purchase single tickets when they go on sale to the general public. Single tickets for Rigoletto are on sale starting July 11, 2022. Single tickets for La Cenerentola, Maria de Buenos Aires, and The Cooper-Bing Competition are on sale starting July 25, 2022.
How do I change my renewal subscription seats or package?
When using your renewal form, you can denote any changes you would like to make to your package on the front of your form. When using your online account, add your seat change requests when prompted before moving your package to your cart. We will do our best to accommodate those requests as we receive your form. You can also call the CBUSArts Ticket Center to review your options with us – call (614) 469-0939 and asked to be transferred to Subscription Services.

Can I call someone to order or renew my package over the phone?
Yes! Have your account number handy if possible and call the CBUSArts Ticket Center at (614) 469-0939 -- Ask to be transferred to Subscription Services. We are available Monday through Friday from 9a—5p.
Will I need to make a new CBUSArts account?
If you are a renewing subscriber, use the email address on your renewal form to login to your existing CBUSArts account. If you are using CBUSArts for the first time, we created you a temporary login—please use the FORGOT PASSWORD process with the email address on your form to get your account set-up.
If you are a new subscriber but have an existing CBUSArts account, you can use your same login and password to purchase your subscription.
If you are a new subscriber and are new to CBUSArts.com, you will need to create a new account with your primary email address.
Will I lose access to my current subscription seats if I choose not to purchase any shows this season?
Moving forward, we will continue with a regular renewal process, meaning that to ensure same seating across shows and season, we recommend renewing your full season subscription each year.
What if I am not comfortable returning to full capacity theatre at this time?
Opera Columbus values its patrons and their safety. Please know Opera Columbus is continuing to prioritize the health and safety of their audiences, artists, and staff. Protocols for in-person attendance, based on CDC, state, and local guidelines, will be communicated to their audiences ahead of all shows in 2022-2023.
When will I receive my tickets by mail or be able to print from my CBUSArts account?
Subscription tickets will be mailed and/or made digitally available starting August 1, 2022. Single ticket purchases will be mailed and/or made digitally available upon purchase.
When will the general public be able to buy their tickets?
Tickets for Rigoletto are on sale starting July 11, 2022. Tickets for La Cenerentola, Maria de Buenos Aires, and The Cooper-Bing Competition are on sale starting July 25, 2022.
When can I exchange my season subscription tickets?
Season subscribers may exchange tickets for new dates/times starting July 25th, 2022.
